ABOUT
Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Connal McClure London-based self-taught photographer whose work spans street and documentary photography.
Preferring candid, unposed encounters, he is particularly drawn to human or atmospheric moments that resist easy interpretation, seeking instead to slow perception rather than offer a literal narrative.
Influenced by Saul Leiter, Alex Webb, Fan Ho, Diane Arbus, Daido Moriyama, and Vivian Maier, among others, his work seeks emotional resonance over clarity, using light and tone as a means of suggestion rather than description.
